Come here. Eat here. Go back to the counter and buy stuff to take back home with you. I've been coming here for (I think) over a decade - ever since my family and I pressed our faces up against the glass one evening as they were closed. We've since come back and bought nearly every smoked spread and fish the place has to offer. When you're there treat yourself to an Alabama Slammer - it's my go to order, but this place does everything great. Other members of my family love the wraps. But I'm gonna be quite honest with you that their BBQ sauces are so good and vinegary (none of that molasses-y sweet stuff) that you could put it on a tire for me and I'd be happy. I make it a point to come here every single time I visit Canaveral!

The only thing I've had here is the smoked fish dip, and i will attest to the fact that it is the best smoked fish dip EVER. Get yourself 3 or 4 containers to go, and several packages of Captains Wafers, a must with this fish dip, and a six pack of cold beer, and you'll be good to go.

Good food and good service. Nice mix of BBQ and seafood. Came to the Smokehouse for lunch and had a pleasant experience. I had the highlighted smoked fish tacos, which were decent, however, the size was a little overwhelming. The smoked fish in the taco was nice. My friends had the pulled pork and the ribs. My friend Texas commented that the ribs were the best he has had since he left Texas, which can certainly taken as high praise. The pulled pork was said to be tasty, but a little spicy for my other friends palate. Would eat here for lunch again.

Holy smokes, indeed! We stumbled upon this place a decade or so ago while on vacation and have come back at least once every single year since. Everything here is delicious! Fish tacos aren't your traditional "tacos," but rather a massive sun dried tomato tortilla filled with the heartiest portion of delicious smoked fish you've ever seen, as well as cabbage, tomatoes, onions, cheese, salsa, and a side of sour cream. Usual fish choices are salmon or mahi; you can't go wrong with either. Wraps are delicious, too. I've recently discovered and become a huge fan of their BBQ sandwiches. And once you've fallen in love with their food, you can take smoked fish, smoked fish dip, smoked meats, and homemade BBQ sauce home. Definitely worth a visit if you're anywhere near the area! They're closed Sundays and Mondays.

A terrific family-owned business. When you walk into this restaurant you'll be blown away by all the BBQ smells jumping into your nostrils! A great little place to grab a quick bite of some yummy smoked meats or BBQ. I like to grab some carry-out on my bike and peddle back to my condo to get my glutton on in the privacy of my home. My wife doesn't mind when I unzip my shorts after eating but it might scare the Smokehouse patrons away. Give this place a try, you won't be sorry. Enjoy!

This place is a hidden gem! They have the biggest, best priced fish tacos in the port. I feel bad for all the tourists that miss out, because its tiny and one of the last restaurants on the street. The salmon taco is my favorite. Once you have a taco here you won't go anywhere else in the port for fish tacos. They are absolutely delicious!

I have a buisness here at cape Canaveral. Been eating here for almost ten years. Best food at the port. Definitely best places to eat lunch. Locally family owned. Friendly people smoking up some of the best food in Canaveral. Eat here or come check out many items in refrigerator for take home and have dinner .

Ordered a fish taco, 9.50$ plus 5.50$ tip; side of baked beans 2.50$ plus 1$ tip, total cost 18.50$. I may have small hands, but the three pieces of cold hard fish, that didn't taste of smoke, together weren't even the size of my thumb. The soggy wrap was filled with supermarket coleslaw and salsa from a can. If the wrap hadn't fallen apart I never would have found the three very small pieces of fish. Verdict: their dips are too die for, their food? I'd prefer to be skinned alive

Came here for a quick lunch with some coworkers. Since it was a bit of a drive from where we were working, we had to be quick. I ordered the bbq pork sandwich with mac and cheese on the side and a fountain drink. After we ordered, it was only a few minutes until our lunches were ready. The price was very inexpensive. The pork was great and the mac and cheese were awesome. They put the BBQ sauces on the table so you can select the one you like or you can try new ones or even mix and match. The hot was very good. I thoroughly enjoyed that meal. Will I be back? You bet I will.

I read the reviews and I did not experience what others had. I had the pork sandwich and it was tough and tasteless... it lacked any real pork flavor. The BBQ sauce was ok... no real depth or flavor profile that I would want to multiply the tastiness of the sandwich. The creamy coleslaw was a -2 stars. I do not know if the cream used was sour or that was the taste they were looking for. As for the atmosphere... great little place with a cooler full of smoked items... maybe I picked the wrong thing.

There's a lot going on in this tiny hole in the wall. They have smoked food in the chill and BBQ to order in the corner. I tried the Alabama Slammer & beans and it hit the spot. I'll definitely be back!

We had the clam chowder, smoked salmon taco, smoked mahi taco and the mac 'n cheese. The chowder had good flavor and tasted homemade ... Could have been a little thicker but that's just preference. The "taco's" were giant (almost like an open burrito). Smoked fish in the taco was tasty, but a little overpowered by excessive salsa, which tasted like Pace or another red chunky tomato salsa that didn't taste fresh. We should have skipped the mac 'n cheese... Lacked any sort of cheese flavor. Overall, it was a decent experience ... As was suggested, we should have gone with a smoked fish wrap (no salsa). Definitely, a unique spot to check out.

What. A. Find. In the seemingly never-ending line of gimmicky, kitschy, tiki-hut-type of seafood places, hidden is this gem of smoked goodness. It's a simple place, the perfect lunch spot for a quick, inexpensive, and delicious meal. Their BBQ pork is delicious, very tender and juicy. The sauce is a Carolina-type of sauce, tart vinegar with some spice provided by red pepper. They have a lot of sides, but I'd recommend skipping the vinegar cole slaw, it was not really good. They also have a refrigerated case of smoked treats: mahi mahi, tuna, pork shoulder, etc. Must go back...

The food is really good! I had the pork sandwich. It was not swimming in sauce like many other barbecue joints make them. You could enjoy the sauce and the smoked meat! Reminded me of being a kid in central Alabama. All of the Crimson Tide stuff makes me believe they may have come from the area.

You can't come to the port without stopping here for something. Every time I'm in town I come by and get some smoked amberjack. It's the best. I have some in my fridge right now and I can't stop thinking about eating it. Go in and try something smoked. They have everything: gator, fish, chicken and more.

Carnivore's delight. Pick a smoked meat, pick a bread delivery system, a tasty side and you're set. The fish taco is fantastic, and they have a new side of dirty rice, which is a perfect complement to the meal. This is a VERY casual place, while the tourists are heading over to Fishlips...the folks who work and live around the port are heading to the Smokehouse. Beside the food that is served, there is also a huge selection of smoked meats, from Mahi to Turkey Legs, in a fridge that forms one of the walls to the eating area. The prices are reasonable, sandwich's for $4 to the tacos for $7.50. The service is fast, so if you just want to grab a meal and head to your boat, this is a perfect place to choose.

Great food and reasonable prices. The smoked chicken and BBQ sandwiches are a must. Large selection of smoked fish for sale. Highly recommended.

Opposite Fish Lips Waterfront Bar and Grill, this little place gets passed by easily when looking for a restaurant. Kind of stands by itself hidden behind some trees, but if you follow your nose, as they say, then you cannot miss it. The smoky aroma of all the meats blended together; and they smoke just about anything you can think of. Just bring it on down. Once inside, it looks like a little cafe. The menu is posted on the wall and you order at the counter. The ad in the Cocoa Beach map listed fish tacos and that attracted us. So we had to order that. Smoked Mahi Mahi but it was more like a burrito. The guy at the counter set our expectations so we were not surprised. If you are expecting petite and hand size, forget it, the thing was huge! He recommended the wrap for the smoked salmon and he was spot on. Both were tasty but our fav was the wrap. Tried the dirty rice and that was good as well. The ribs were mouth watering; mac and cheese better than most, but light on the cheese, so don't expect thick Kraft style cheese coating; not to mention the baked beans were delicious. They even had your choice of brew in a bottle. Not a bad selection either, carried a local lager that was smooth and easy. Not hoppy, sorry IPA fans. But even head to head with the bigger restaurants, this place was right up there with the number of choices. Tried Rusty's just down the way as well as Fish Lips and have to say, this place edged them out by just a bit, maybe it was the smoked gator? Some good tasting local grindz as I say. Don't think it attracts people based on its looks.

Been here twice in the last couple of weeks. Solid BBQ and smoked seafood. Their prices are pretty good too. Seems to be a locals kind of place which is a good thing. One can eat in but they also have a variety of packaged smoked meats and fish that one can buy and take home. Their clam chowder isn't half bad. I recommend trying it out. Kinda small, but the outside seating is worthwhile when the weather is great. Fantastic value, another example of place deserving 3.5 stars. I'll be back!

Delicious barbeque for a very reasonable price in a nice casual location. I wish I hadn't been flying or I would have taken some of it home.

Fantastic little lunch place at Port Canaveral. It's across the street from Grills and Fishlips and those places. I work at Cape Canaveral and this is my favorite place in the area. They're known for their smoked meats and fishes...pork, beef, chicked, and several types of fish. You can get them as a sandwich, wrap, taco, burrito, etc. They also have great side dishes (the beans are my go-to side...also liked the mac'n'cheese and slaw). These are flavorful, fresh sandwiches and sides. They make everything from scratch right there. In fact, you can bring your own fish/meat in to be smoked too (for future consumption at home). You get a sandwich, 2 sides and a drink for less than $8. In and out in less than 20 minutes. Kicks the ass of any other sort of "fast" food in this town. My description isn't doing this place justice...go for yourself and see. You won't be sorry.

This is a great local spot at Port Canaveral. Don't come for the view. Not touristy. But great food. A quiet place to meet and have a great lunch. They are not open for dinner. You can also run through and grab some smoked food to go. You can pick up a whole smoked boston butt, take it home, throw in the crock pot for two hours and serve pulled pork to your family and friends. Also try the Canaveral Caviar (no fish eggs). It's a great, healthy side dish.
